WHO HAVE YOU INSPIRED TODAY?

Junior Achievement is the world's largest organization dedicated to educating young people about business, economics and free enterprise!

Last year we reached over 12,000 students in grades 3 through 12 with our volunteer driven, in class programs.  This year our goal is to impact over 16,000 students in Edmonton and Northern Alberta, and we need your help to do it!

Currently we are looking for two volunteers to deliver JA programs to the Grade 3 students and the Grade 8 students at the Mannville School.  The Grade 3 program  - Our Community:  Needs, Jobs, Tools studies the difference between needs and wants while discovering the variety of jobs in our community.  Explores the money circle and the tools and technology used in certain jobs.  The Grade 8 program - Dollars with Sense is an interactive program designed to encourage grade 8 students to develop the financial literacy necessary to make informed decisions about their financial futures.  Students learn about budgeting, money management and investments.

Four reasons to get involved:
        1)  Be part of an incredibly rewarding volunteer experience!
        2)  You'll contribute something real and of value to your community!
        3)  You'll provide an enriching experience with the opportunity to inspire and motivate students!
        4) An incredible resume building experience!
