It is my privilege as Mayor for the Village of Mannville to bring greetings to you! This will be my second term on Council and I am humbled by your confidence in me. Thank you for your support.
Our last Council started four major projects and we plan to see them through to successful conclusion. The Water Pipeline project is an important undertaking that will see Mannville with a long term quality water supply, at the most reasonable cost. It also satisfied all of Alberta Environments requirements.
The Northeast Residential Development is another long term project that will supply new lots for residential growth and long term viability for our Village. Our landfill is nearing closure and the new Transfer Station will ensure residents have the means to properly dispose of garbage. Another important project!
Lastly, we are expanding the camp ground at the Golf Course to meet demand and increase cash flows to ensure long term profitability. In addition to the four major projects, we have been asked to address a few unsightly properties. We will be asking these people to clean up their yards and keep our Village a clean, attractive place to live and raise a family.
